NCG-hIL15 Mouse

NCG-hIL15 is a triple-immunodeficient NCG mouse expressing human IL15. IL15 mediates the survival and proliferation of T cells, B cells, and NK cells enhancing the development of human NK cells in mice engrafted with human hematopoietic stem cells.OriginThe NCG mouse strain was co-developed by Nanjing Biomedical Research Institute of Nanjing University and Nanjing Galaxy Biopharma in 2014 and transferred to CRL in 2016. Nanjing Galaxy Biopharma became Gempharmatech in 2019, while retaining oversight of the original NCG colony. GPT later modified the original NCG strain by introducing human IL-15 expression creating the NCG-hIL15. The strain was transferred to Charles River in 2022.
